Riomaggiore houses the National Park of Cinque Terre, whose presence is testified by intense promotional activity seen a bit ‘anywhere in the country. The upper part of the village is characterized by a recent expansion of residential housing, while the narrow streets that branch off from the main street and the marina are among the most picturesque of the Cinque Terre.
Very beautiful the sight of the sea, surrounded by tall buildings and towers "impregnable" to the pirates who frequented the ancient coastal town. Superb view from the castle.

Vernazza was for years the most attractive Cinque Terre, together with Monterosso. The village takes its name from Vernazzola, a stream that zigzags its way down the cliffs, through the vineyards, past the crowded houses, under picturesque small bridges and down to the sea. It seems as if nothing has changed here for centuries. The little harbour is dotted with fishing boats, and the water laps up against a small piazza. It’s the perfect setting for an aperitif or an evening meal…a truly romantic, intimate and relaxing fishing village immersed in the most authentic and pristine nature.
Civil Weddings in Vernazza are celebrated in the local Town Hall or Civil registrar.
Catholic Weddings in Vernazza are celebrated in the Church of Vernazza, located on a small square, it stands on a cliff overlooking the sea protected by a row of rocks, offering its visitors a breathtaking view in a gothic Ligurian style.
